France defeated Poland 3-1 in a thrilling match to advance to the quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Olivier Giroud scored the opening goal for France in the 44th minute, becoming his country's all-time leading scorer. Kylian Mbappe doubled the lead in the 74th minute, and Giroud added his second goal in the 90th minute to put the game out of reach.
